About Calgary Current

Calgary Current is one place for every public event in Calgary: the arena shows and the open mics, the museum programs and the markets, the things with ticket links and the things with a poster taped to a door. Free for every reader and every organizer, always.

Listings are gathered nightly from public feeds and calendars — including the City of Calgary's open data — and by hand from posters and community pages. Everything links out to the organizer's own page, which is always the source of truth for times and prices.

Our bot

The automated collector identifies itself as CalgaryCurrentBot, makes a handful of polite requests a night, honours robots.txt, and never works around a site that says no. If it's visiting your site and you'd rather it didn't — or you'd rather hand us a feed — write to marquee-ingest@agentmail.to and a person will answer.
